Need Advice: Got a new 120 and want a closed loop

My 120 RR tank/stand/hood is on a truck right now. Currently I have a 72 gallon mixed reef tank that has the following equipment

15 gallon sump
Euroreef RS80 skimmer
Tek T5 6x54 lighting
Standard 900 gph return pump with overflow box
Powerheads: Tunze 6060, Tunze 6045, MJ 1200
I dose 2 part alk/calc almost daily

New tank will be almost entirely SPS.

My plans for the new 120 are:

30+ gallon sump; Run pumps, lights etc through a reef control unit; set up a closed loop; keep current T5s; incorporate a kalk stirrer into the design; upgrade on skimmer

Any advice/comments at all are welcome and appreciated. Thanks

I am looking at the OM 4 way. Which pump should I get to go along with this? Advice?

Thanks

Lots of people have been happy with their Reeflo pumps. Great customer service too. I really like my hammerhead.

For an SPS dominated tank, I would upgrade the skimmer like you said and go with a Sequence Dart for the closed loop.

I would recommend against a closed-loop.

I have one on my 120g with a 4-way and I'm going to take down my closed-loop once I move. With two Tunze 6101, it's sufficient. The plumbing required for a closed-loop is just too complicated.

I use a Eheim 1260..I love the Eheim pumps. It's pretty much, put it in the sump and forget about it pump. Good quality.
