now after reading the thread my nmhs2 id love to ask......is it possible that copper could come from the pipes used to carry the water to my sink??? i know the pipes are copper, and before i got my RO/DI like 4 months ago i used nothing but tap water.....id love to find out what everyones opinions are about that. Not that i have any adverse copper effects in my tank but id love to find out.

I believe the copper can leach from the pipes. I never took the chance. Before I invested in a RO/DI I paid for water from walmart.
