CF's pico

have any of you seen the insame pico reef at CF?? i never noticed it until today. its only like .5 gallons. literally, its a gladware thing with a filter... only nicer.

its on the shelf holding the salt (near the front desk). its very hard to find, which is probaly why i never noticed it until yesterday.

Yeah I was in there yesterday and I noticed it when I was looking at the cube they have on the desk. I've never seen a tank that small, it's like one of those deco tanks but half the size.

you know every employee there has a show tank except me so I said
"F" it i'm going to start one even if the bosses don't like it

I missed the pico last time I was there....

what are the water changes like for that thing. A thimble every 15 minutes, or are you cheating and it's plumbed into the rest of the tanks???????

100% every week water change ... It's deffiantely not plumbed in to a system.

Plumbed into a system?! There would be more water in the pipes going into the pico than in the tank itself..

using water from one of the display reefs... and change it with the pico every day?? that might be a good plan... i might set up a 2.5 gallon AGA pico and change the water between 55 and 2.5
