If you have a plumbing outlet in the tank and are just using a 3/4 or 1" 90 degree, or a hosebarb like I was - just replace it with the eductor and see what happens.

Can these be used on a single return with two split Locline's?

I only have a 75 with one return but the return splits into a "Y" shapped return. I can however take the Y off and make one nozzle...

I am only pulling about 600-700 gph out of it though. I am also using two modded Tunze nano's on each end of the tank. If I can keep from buying another tunze I would love to try this today...

Thanks
Spankey

it will work with the "y" but it will work better if you use one with a lot of pressure

Well I took the photos of my modded Eductor last week and didn't get around to uploading them until now. Since I couldn't find the smooth male threaded reducer, I just used a 1.25 to 3/4" reducer instead.

Hope that helps.

I haven't read all of the posts on this thread, but wanted to make sure that you guys knew that eductors can be put on locline, all you need is a double socket locline coupler.

Great job!

How did they work out for you with the different parts?

You might see an improvement if you drill some more holes on the eductor to reduce resistance.

Where exactly at lowes are you guys finding these 1/2 barb X 3/4 threaded hose barbs? Lowes near me only carries the opaque colored ones that have a hex tightner that sticks out above the threads. I tried sanding it off but its still too tight to get the threads to catch on the reducer.

Look in the section where the irrigation or in ground sprinkler components are. I have found them at two Lowes here in VA.

I'll be giving it a shot this week. How close to the surface can you get before it sucks in air and creates bubbles?

mine was touching the water surface and didn't suck any air in - remember there isn't a propellor spinning inside.

That being said, I added a coupler so that I could lower it about 1-2" below the surface because it was making splashing noise when the stream hit the overflow and tank corners. Now it is silent and deadly. lol

It also depends on how powerful your pump is, the more powerful the pump the more water it will educt so you might need to put it lower in the tank to keep it from sucking air in.

Dolphin condemned my pump, I'm not a happy camper about that. Send them a working pump for new seals and everything except the front cover is bad?!?!?!? But they will sell me a refurb for $250... $30 short of a new one?!?!?!?!? Talk about bait and switch! KMA!!! Really sucks because the Dolphin has a lot of capacity and is rated at 1.3A.
I'll be using a Quiet One 4000HH on a bored out SCWD... at least as a test. I'll try to have pics and vid up next weekend...

Tim
