peacetypes6 you should be all good as far as i can read, and the 40's have not been allowed unless I'm missing something.

Under 5g is a "pico"

30g has been a pretty good standard max nano size.

I say the rules sound optimal, and I have nothing to enter, so I'm not biased :P

Pico is closer to a nano than a 30 gallon tank....30 imo isn't a nano. Is there a pico reef of the month?

there are no rules or boundaries on what defines a nano from a pico or a nano from a regular reef tank. its simply the rules the previous winner posted as it is his privilege of choosing so for winning.

Hey guys, thought I might enter for the heck of it. Prolly won't win even though I have nice stuff cus my camera sucks lol. Anyways this is my first tank, been set up for 8 months. I'm only 17, so I am pretty happy how it looks. My bro whos 15 also helps me take care of the tank.

TANK SPECS
- 20H gallon tank
- koralia nano
- aquaclear 50 filter
- jbj 150w MH clip on light
- sixline wrasse
- yasha haze w/pistol shrimp
- false perc

Coral wise I try and collect the really rare stuff since I am limited to room. Tank is mostly acanlords, over 75 florida rics, and rare zoas/palys.

FTS

One of the many Florida Ric patches

Mohawks...my personal favorite

this pic was hard to choose, it was either between my candy apple red palys or my blood red acan. but since i posted palys above i guess it the acan. i've never seen one this red before.

I'll accept the late entries since i've been too busy to even create the finalist thread just yet.
peacetypes6, hurry up and post pics of your tank, 3g falls into the rules i reposted somewhere mid thread (2.5g-30g), since there is no pico tank of the month i will allow it to be "nano".

ActinopteryGuy - do a search on Opanda IExif and download a free little viewer - after installing it you right click on a picture and choose View exif, and it'll tell you the camera, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, etc. It's a neat little piece of free software. Based on this Demartini used a Canon Powershot SD550. It doesn't work on every picture, but it does on most of them.
