My Miniatus Grouper thinks it is a Dog
I have a Strange Miniatus Grouper a Couple of Weeks ago he came up near the Surface where I was looking Down at Him.I thought he wanted Dinner instead he Turned very close to being on his Side I had my Feeder Stick.So the thought occured to me To scratch his side and Belly.Well like a Dog he loved it now whenever I have the feeder stick he comes out to get his Belly scratched.He stays almost in a Trance like state for 30 Seconds sometimes.Weird when I bought him I thought I bought a Grouper not a Dog with Fins
 .Well at least he does not have Fleas has anyone ever heard of such a Weird thing Ever?.

I 'scratch' my yellow tang's sides with a baster as well. Picked it up from when I would guard my sun coral from him eating all the mysis. Just make sure you do it lightly enough not to damage the slime coat.

yah mine was the same way i actually was able to pet him with my hand a few times but it was kind of creepy because he would open his mouth like he was yawning . did you get him in san diego by chance ? might be my old one if so about 12 inches when i got rid of him
