My Miniatus Grouper thinks it is a Dog

I have a Strange Miniatus Grouper a Couple of Weeks ago he came up near the Surface where I was looking Down at Him.I thought he wanted Dinner instead he Turned very close to being on his Side I had my Feeder Stick. So the thought occured to me To scratch his side and Belly.Well like a Dog he loved it now whenever I have the feeder stick he comes out to get his Belly scratched. He stays almost in a Trance like state for 30 Seconds sometimes.Weird when I bought him I thought I bought a Grouper not a Dog with Fins .Well at least he does not have Fleas has anyone ever heard of such a Weird thing Ever?.

I 'scratch' my yellow tang's sides with a baster as well. Picked it up from when I would guard my sun coral from him eating all the mysis. Just make sure you do it lightly enough not to damage the slime coat.

I never had a grouper that liked that, but I did have a trigger that enjoyed its side rubbed.
