Please RSVP here at this thread and let me know if you're planning to come Sunday, at 4 PM. I'd like to know how much 7 Layer Dip to make (or rather, for my wife to make!), and how much BBQ to order!

Three door prizes will be available: 3 one lb. containers of calcium hydroxide, aka kalkwasser mix, aka lime water mix, aka Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime!

Also, if you haven't measured your nitrates in awhile, and you've got problems with algae.... well, most likely that's why. In addition to discussing DIY chemicals, I'd be interested in discussing other aspects of water chemistry at the meeting too.

So before you come, measure your nitrate level and learn what to do to get your nitrates less than 1 ppm, much less! Haven't got a nitrate test kit? Tsk, tsk... I'd recommend the kit by Salifert.

either one of you, i realy need a few LR, i guess i should of got on the band wagon when the order was in for LR, didnt need it @ the time, i have a second tank now, i know where theres a tank full of LR in this mans garage if he would just leave it up after dark, oh wait your the man (never mind)
