I was at first too. It is really easy though. It does an incredible job.

Yes John, you told me so.

Did you ever find out what your nitrate level is?

Not yet. I tried to buy a kit from Kingfish on Monday but they were out.

I did make a huge batch of fish food last night. I should be set for the year.

Still looking for a insulated box Jonathan. I haven't forgotten.

Gabriel, no sweat. You can send it in a regular box too. Coule ways to do it:

1. Put them in Zip-Loc/Tupperware, and bag that. Then place in a box with a lot of peanuts. Zoanthids are rediculously hardy and that's why many reefs don't want them in their systems. This is how I sent the coraline algae to Eric.

2. Build a styro box yourself. Just get any old styro and cut it to size, fit the box and your ready to go. I do it all the time.

3. Get a cheap Thermos and put them in that, then in peanuts, and you are good to go.

HTH!

And hey, when do we get to see a pic of you with your Jolly?? Or your wife, confiscating your Jolly?

Actually I was going to send you a whole frag pack of other corals too. I will get it together someday.

I had about 7 or 8 of them when I found out I am intolerant to Barley. I took the rest to a party and shared the love. They were a huge hit! I had blood tests done and I have to stay away from several foods for at least six months. Barley was one of the main ones. So that means no beer or scotch! I can still have Vodka and Gin though so thats a plus.

No over about 4 or 5 days. I am hoping this will help me lose weight. I have really been trying for the past 3-6 months and having no results. I was actually still gaining. A friend of mine told me about this company that tests your blood against all the major foods and additives and tells you what your body is able to process. He was having horrible allergies and that was why he did it. As a by product he lost 30 lbs just by eating the foods he could process. So I decided to try it. It is going to be a hard 6 months. There are a lot of things I am supposed to avoid. After 6 months you are supposed to slowly work the other foods back into your diet. Anyway, short story long, no beer!

So I finally got a Nitrate test kit. I tested a few minutes ago and they were between 0 and 5 ppm. I find that surprising. Maybe my fuge full of cotton candy algae is doing a good job.

Well, that is indeed intersting. API does OK. You know, if you are sending your blood to labs, you could send your tank water to one too, and for a much cheaper array of tests!

I'm not telling. It is a brand new one, and I need to get more facts together first. That way if I'm way off, I won't ever have to admit it.

Good call Marc. I always spout my theories long before I have validated them. But everyone just smiles.

Great shots! That camera is the shizzle and your tank's looking great as usual. BTW, I feel the need to run a Mg test, can we get together?
