If you spent 8 mos of your life building a stand and cabinet with sump, auto top off and fuge, all self contained within a 14 foot long cabinet made of solid oak, learned a lot of new skills to complete this monstrosity, and put two 4 foot long formal bookcases on either side to make it pleasing to the wife.

When you take your 5 and 9 year old kids with you to the LFS and they correct other patrons as to what things are really called, you might be...
When your 5 and 9 year old daughters are truly concerned if all your water parameters are good,... When you spend time at work surfing reef sites instead of porn sites,... While in St. Thomas, you spend an hour on the phone with your sister-in-law, making sure your tank is ok and trying to instruct her on resetting your dosing pump,... If you talk about your tank so much, your wife now understands the "lingo"... You've talked about your tank so much your wife has been caught using the "lingo"...

If you have planned all your college locations, job training, job changes, and family relocations around wheather the city or town has at least two decent LFS ...
If you spend more time cooking rocks than dinner for your family ... If you can make the wheel in your electric meter do a 360 in less than half a second ... you might be a reefneck.

MAN !! you must really be conserveing power on your tank. I'm afraid to even look at my power meter due to it being an explosion hazard. |
