Problems keeping acans...
I can keep any thing but most LPS. I would like to try keeping some bubble corals, and some of the other LPS. But my blastos, and acans, have, and are not doing so well.
I have all my SPS and the tiny bit of softies that I have directly under my 250W MH and they are all really happy. My two brains are also really happy. I would like to know, if I moved my blastos and acans into a 24g nc that has about 40w of t5 on it, how would they do? What lighting do they do best under? (LPS in general)

depends....acans can handle lots of light, but they are fine under PC, T5 or MH...basically anything you can throw at them (with proper acclimation to the high output configurations, of course).
target feeding LPS is a key aspect in maintaining their health and colour brilliance as well.....especially with those colourful aussie acans Ideally, for the best colours, stick with high kelvin, MH bulbs....20K Radiums are the bulbs to beat, imo.

Okay. Because they are under 14K right now.
