Question Wiring Lights of America Flood Light

I got the lights of America flood light to light my refugium. There is a black wire and a white wire. Which one is neutral, and which is hot? If i remember correctly from high school tech ed, white is neutral? I just want to check, so i dont burn the house down. Thanks.

thanks. it didnt come with a ground wire. Just white and black. the fixture is all plastic too, so there is nothing really to ground it to.
