I think this chalice could pick up growth speed once it reaches a terminal size. If so, you know which clubs swap to be at right?

Welcome to our world of "killer corals", literally!
I joke around about my chalices eating sps for breakfast but it's very accurate too!

No kidding Jim. the first week the tentacles were only 1/2" then the past few days started noticing skeletal piece showing on my elkhorn.... then low and behold late night on a weekend... saw the whips comeout with a red light...

What do you feed your Chalices ??? lights off or on ??

I feed the tank in the morning hours before the lights come on. I like to have a million or 2 rotifers (Rotifeast) and an ounce of Arctipods in there by by 8 am w/ the skimmer shut down. Then, once I've had my coffee, the morning handfeeding of frozen mysis to the LPS starts. I'm using the larger size mysis that comes in the 2.5# block, not the smaller stuff like Hikari cubes are made from. These shrimp are big enough to hold the tail and present to the LPS. I usually will feed, let them open up again, and feed again. Wonko takes 3-4 shrimp per feeding times two feedings per session. I handfeed half my LPS each day so they get a day to digest and I don't put too much food in the system!? (what?!). I'd estimate i feed a gram of frozen mysis per day.

Disclaimer-Don't try this level of feeding at home without designing a system to handle it!
