That's just crazy. I've never seen them do it before. I actually caught this on at its highest point, just before it fell. I'm still trying to figure out how, with one foot they can simultaneously hold themselves in one place and reach up for a higher grip. Crazy buggers.

I would imagine it depends on how clean the glass is, and how heavy the conch. :-)

Since mine are small, and the glass is rather dirty :-( they can climb pretty much at will. I've even seen them climb into the path of a powerhead and then they look like the shell is going to be blown off any moment... So I sometimes feel bad and knock them off at that point, fearing they'll just hold on until it kills them...
