My feather duster worms' spawn

A good number of my feather worms seem to have graced me with a spawn last night. At least that's my take on it.

All at the same time, at least 15-20 of the worms started extending parts I had never seen before. They started pushing out white, spherical objects and, a few at a time, released them into the water. I witnessed several of the worms making contraction-type movements and then start to push their own white objects away.

I didn't get the camera out in time for the majority of it, but here are some pictures of the tail end.

The objects are quite small, so please forgive the magnification.

Thanks! I blame it on Spring.

I really like to have to right tool for the job and I've certainly felt that way about this camera. It sure makes it easy on me.

So, what are the camera specs?

Sorry. It's a Canon 20D with the Canon f2.8 100mm lens. I use this lens for almost everything--handheld shots, macros. It's just a great lens. I used the stock flash for these. I tend to shoot in RAW because that gives me extra file size that I can trade for magnification later in Photoshop.
