Help me find a heater!
What would be a good heater for me to buy? I have about 400gals to heat and would like to keep my water around 79 to 81 deg. As of right now my tank is at a steady 75 deg. I was looking at getting two 1000w pro-Heat titanium heater. Is this a good reliable heater and do you think that two will be to much? Any help would be much appreciated!

no aquarium heater is "reliable". You will want to get 3-4 titanium heaters in 500W range. You will want to use them with a RANCO or similar temperature controller. Set the themostats on the heaters at 84 or so. The RANCO will control them and the internal thermostats will act as overlimit switches in case the RANCO sticks on (very rare). The multiple heaters will keep the tank warm even if 1 or 2 fail to turn on.
