Help Ice Cap ballast wiring?

Will it be alright if I connect 3 250w ballast to one power cord. I want to know if this will be safe. I bought the cord from home depot( 16 gauge 8ft cable).

Go to the Icecap forum and ask Andy, In my opinion I would not do it.

If you're talking about 3 wire harnesses being wired to 1 plug that's a really bad idea. You want 3 plugs for 3 ballasts. You will essentially be splitting the voltage between 3 different loads.....bad news for the ballast.

I agree with fat tony.

I just wired my 3 Icecap 250w MH's and had the same power cord you have. You need one per ballast.
