aquaspacelight

I have a chance to buy a used one(about one year old) for $600. The setup is 3-250w 4-24w pc @ 72in for 180gal tank. I want to do a mixed reef. Has anyone had any luck with these lights?

That is a very good price for that system.

I assume this is the fixture with the internal ballast. Do a search for aquaspacelight and you will find the life of these fixture with the internal ballast is not very good. Even the new ones with the vents on the top. I have the 48" version and it gets real hot.

you'll have to replace the bulbs, so it's not a steal.

How long do the ballast last ? If they last along time it still might be a good deal. Brand new $1200
