Ph Probe For Geo Calc Reactor
i know you dont need a probe for the korallin, but will a co2 bubble build up for the geo aswell?

I don't think I understand the question, but I don't think a pH probe is required in the reactor.

let me clarify, according to JETCAT, theres is a build up of CO2 in the reactor of the korallin when you are using too much CO2, it is a safety feature. does the geo offer the same thing?

I have a GEO CA reactor. It comes with a port to place a PH probe. It is not required, but recommended.
However, still not sure I understand the question. There is no " safety bubble or place for excessive CO2 to escape. If you put too much CO2 in your reactor, your media will simply dissolve quicker (probably more than you want) and your PH will drop...hence the need to regulate the CO2 with a controller of some sort. Some folks use a PH probe in the reactor, some use it in their main tanks (or both). Hope this helps, DB |
