Tank of the Month

You can't please everyone but why penalize others for one's shallowness. TOTM is a favorite feature of many members and some of us learn a great deal from other successful reefers. Some may even aspire to have our own tank featured. BRING BACK TANK OF THE MONTH!!!!

tank of the month

i think it is fear to put sps dominated tanks only ,cause they are much harder to keep than soft coral tanks,

TOTM where my favorite. I can't believe RK is getting rid of it for good just because of one cry-baby's complaining that all TOTM is sps dominated. What about Mucho's softie tank?

I enjoyed and learned alot from TOTM. It was nice to see how everyone has their plumbing and what equipment. It was enjoyable to read how they started and everything they did up to the point they are currently.

That is to bad we are getting rid of TOTM, I always enjoyed looking at different set ups. Is it just me or does everything have to be PC because some one is always offended that they are being left out or picked on!?!? People are way to thin skinned nowadays, sorry to sound like an old fart

I strongly feel that it does not have to stop but the writter had a very good point. I'm all sps and love it but I have seen some very nice all zoo tanks all mushrooms tanks all clams tanks and some super lps is tanks. If there are tanks that are out there and I know there are then they deserve just as much rights to be consider for the totm as sps. Just for the recordes I have seen a zoo tank that was totm

ive never understood the complaints that all the TOTM are SPS dominated to begin with because there were a few this past year that were not. I'm hoping this is RC's april fools joke...

personally I think it's a good move to get rid of it. Now we don't have to look at AMAZING tanks that just give us a negative self image and probably cause our fish to suffer inferiority complexes. BRING it BACK, PLEASE!!!

No more tank of the month????? What

You have to be kidding me! What the heck is going on here. Just because some Guy or Gal complained about the procedure of measuring one's tank for a successful reef and then taking away the tank of the month is just plain crazy!

Please reconsider this feature!! Tank of the month was a special treat that everyone liked to check out each month. I certainly did. How about putting that EGO back in your pocket and give the people what they want. Every tank is a special thing for us all! I like to look at everyones tank. Big or small. Its the creativity someone has put into their tank that makes me apprecate this hobby so much.

So let all just get along!! Don't you think! Hope you all can reconsider TANK OF THE MONTH! It was a great thing in my opinion!

SALSAKING!!

Yeah, this has to be an April Fools Joke. I like when you click the link to complain ( I was just curious, I love TOTM) It gives you a choice of being Banned for life or added to the Ignore list. Very nice touch.

I think it's sad it's gone. It was nice to see other people's practices. I don't know how they get picked every month, but I don't care if it's a 10 gallon nano, Or a 10 million sps. it's always awesome to see what people have and do. I've learned alot of new ideas, and seen some cool designs. I have a tank, and I don't care what anyone says I love it, so if they are pro sps, LPS, softies, etc... then enjoy it, and respect other people's stuff. Please bring it back.
