Unfortunately at Christmas time this year I had a big temp spike because of a loose thermometer probe, and I lost it

have anyone tried placing their brain coral anywhere else apart from the sandbed?

I'll post my pic in here as soon as I can figure out how to with my .mac account.

In the meantime, can a brain get hurt by a Frogspawn coral (Yaeyamaensis)?
Mine are pretty close, but I haven't seen the frogspawn's feelers get too close to it yet, at least 1.5" away.
