They are convex, not concave. Optical illusion!

now that looks a bit more like the piece i have...are the mouth areas concave or convex on that species? my piece has concave mouth openings and the piece is entirely flat in growth patterns.

that does, however, look dead on like gary's piece! good find bro!

Are you feeding the Echino's and Oxy's Marlooney? They all look fantastic. What type of lighting is over the 10 gallon tank? Since I switched to Hamilton 14K 250 DE bulds all of my LPS have started to bleach out. I hope they rebound soon.

Jus Reefin, thanks for the compliment... LOL.

paige, thanks, they're all fed and kept under a 96W PowerQuad 50/50. it'd be a shame for your LPS for bleach. from what i've seen all of your pieces look exceptional. i hope you find out what's wrong. maybe they're just adjusting to the change. good luck.

Naka, nice pieces. time for some joe's juice though.

& oh yeah... sick pics Mustang. i really like the oxy w/ red mouths.

Howdy from Oklahoma......you know.... the place that has no coral of color or taste... Ok..OK in all seriousness it is REALLY difficult to find any decentcoral period and much less any nice chalice,. I've bought a couple from Tubs and Ming but the market out there is really dry. Anyone here showing pics willing to frag/sell? Or any advice on internet sources for nice chalice?
I'd DEFINITELY appreciate any input...and I'm sorry if this post is "out of place" for this forum.
Thx!

hey okie, you might get moved to the want to buy forum but there are plenty of people here that frag. If you like someone's stuff, pm them, most likely they are fragging and if you have stuff to trade then you are sitting pretty.
