a local guy broke down his LPS dominated reef and went SPS so he got rid of these guys... if I remember correctly, he had gotten them from Captive Reef when they had their 10 for $1000 a while while back...

thank goodness a friend babysat some of them and I just happen to drop by and I was like... WOWOWEE.. then, he let pick which ones I like and those the ones I came up with... there's more but I didn't have enough... I hope to get another morph if he's still got it..

updated shots.. I think they're settling in nicely on the sandbed.. flash shots are taken at night when the lights are off.. I used a flashlight to add more light so the camera can pick it up better...

Thanks.. looking forward to having a decent colony to show in the next couple of months.. they have lotsa babies... although lords are slower on growth, I still enjoy their awesome coloration..

Those are incredible Marv!!! I REALLY like the 4th pic. I love all these acans with the speckles or frosting all over them. Very sweet!!

I wish I could get mine to grow FASTER!!! I am ready to trade!!!

just depends on the morph for me -
I have one that the adult polyps are a terquoise (sp?) color - I really like them - not a color seen very often. I have only a small frag. and it is not an adult polyp so it hasn't colored up yet. I will post pics as the color develops a little more.
