Goldbar Wrasse (thalassoma hebraicum)
Has anyone heard of this fish? I did a general search and found nothing. My LFS has one of these wrasses and it's beautiful. The LFS advised that this wrasse is totally reef safe. All I can find on the web about the fish is it's somewhat rare one of the few fish imported from Kenya, Africa. It's supposedly quite hardy.
Anybody?? Thanks, Rob

Google is your friend . They arent technically reef safe, but they wont harm corals unless they knock them over while looking for food - and with a fish this big (23cm) it wouldnt be a very hard thing for it to do. No shrimp, most things that make up the majority of a cleanup crew, or things like that with this fish either. Its close relatives include the lunar wrasse and a few others that arent very nice with their tankmates, especially in smaller tanks.
