wiring for t-5

I bought the workman 5 ballast two 54 watt t-5's. I seem to be confused about wiring a ballast for t-5 no problems on the metal halide. Why are there 4 red wires and one yellow one?Any help would be appreciated

If you look at the fulham wiring diagrams, they show that you want to take the yellow wire, splice it so that it goes to both connectors on one end of each bulb (ie connected to all both pins on one end of each bulb). Take 2 red wired and connect them together and then connect that new wire to both pins on the end of one bulb. Take the other 2 red wires and do the same thing with them.

The workhorse ballast is an electronic ballast that does not use the heaters in the bulbs, so it only needs one connection to each end of the bulb rather than a separate link to each pin on each end of the bulb.
