I like the visible sump, In my new 125 i will make 3 seperate LR piles, it was either that or both ends of the tank aquascaped down to open swimming room in the center. Try to avoid the LR piled up the back all the way across the tank....very over done.

zaireguy,

Here is mine Z, but I have a choise now, I would have three different islands and make the scaping lower...I dont have a choice now since changing my scaping would take too much of my time that I don't have for now. I called this the great wall of china but there are some nook and crannies that the fish could swim in and out though.

I also like the visable sump.

I agree that you shoul have three island with alot of swimming room. I think it will make the tank much more open, and your fish will really have a chance to move around.
Are you going to spraypaint the back of the tank, or put some sort of backround on it?
