It is a cool looking tank, I can vouch for that. I think he is really going bigger since I offered to give him my 90 and he said "haha I want bigger". I think he needs at least a 180 maybe a 240.

So thats why Robert ask me if a single 15A circuit can sustain a 180g when I bumped into him at Fishy last Sat.

And, what, pray tell, was your answer? I would like to know the answer to that question myself. Consider this:

3 x 250 mh
2 x 110 vho
2 x 65 pc
1 Sedra 9000
1 Ocean Runner 6500
2 x 300watt heaters
... just for starters

Well ReefJerk, The equiptment you just mentioned will draw approximately 1855 watts. At 120 volts, you are looking at 15.46 amps. So no.

I run a few more things on my 180, and have 2 dedicated 20 amp breakers. 1 15 amp breaker will be really pushing it and that is if it can even handle it. Oh yea, Russ is the expert when it comes to electrical.(amoung other things)lol

Thank you very much. I may have to get some electrical work done.
