Sea Grass

Hi everyone:

Been kinda busy lately and haven't been around much. But life has settled down a bit for the time.
Anyways, I've got some sea grass in my tank that has taken over and need to trim it down some. I was wondering if anyone was interested in it for there sump or tank?

Let me know,

~~Ange

I'm in Hillsboro. 40 miles North of Fargo and 40 miles South of Grand Forks.

Here is a pic of it in my tank.

Tarax...I still have the other tank cycling. I just filled it up with water and top it off. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

If you are interested let me know. I'll be in Fargo on Wednesday for a bit we could meet some place.

I'll look tonight when I get home from work and girl scouts. I will have enough for you 2 I'm sure. Probably around 4 plants each. Maybe more. I haven't messed around in there lately cause my clown fish tries to eat me every time I do.

There is no price, I was going to throw it out if I couldn't get anyone to take some. Trades are always welcome if you have something.

Sounds good.

I'm planning on meeting Tarax too. So I was thinking at MeritCare on Broadway around 5pm. My daughter's appointment is at 4pm and that gives us an hour. Will be in the clinic parking lot on the North side. Not the hospital ramp. Main level parking as I hear there is lower level parking, but I have yet to find out how to get there.

If anyone else wants to meet, let me know and I will get more out. Otherwise I just have the 2.

The cabbage coral is wonderful Michael. It has opened up great this morning and looks so cool. Thanks much

Thanks again Angie for the sea grass.. My Goby doesn't know what to think of it as of this point.. He just comes out and stares at it almost like he is thinking.. "Hey the substrate is mine!!" When I get something to share you can definately take a look at what you want.

And BTW if when we schedule the meetings don't work for you speak up.. Most of us are flexible enough to be able to change things around. Would love to have you at the next meeting.

No problem Mark...

My lawn mower bleeny loves it and even the clown fish started nipping at it lately.

Tank looks kinda bear now, but I know it will take over again, so when I have more I will let you know.

Will let ya know. Give it another month. I was going to go in the tank today and see what I have left and move somethings around. I don't really care for how it looks right now. But I'm sure when I start moving things, I would like that either.

Actually after further thought, I have to disagree with what I just said. Sea grass is not the best for exporting nutrients. Do not put this in the tank itself if you want to do it. In the fuge, its a tough call. you are probably better off with macro that is easier to control...

I have no idea. I like it in my tank, as it grows I find all the fish nipping on it. I have moved all of it to the back of the tank and it looks kinda cool. But that is a personal opion also.
