Same Here!!

I *was* interested in the Wave2k he had for sale, I asked for pics, never got a response, that there was my red-flag, Then seeing these posts, I'm sorry you all have to go through this..

Its people like this who make it hard to buy online..

When we buy stuff, we ask for an HONEST description of the item, some pics time to time and we ask to get what we paid for. not get ripped off..

I hope you all make out alright !!!!

It looks to be a good turn around for me and more of communication problems then intentional harm. Though paypal still gets a thumbs down from me.

I know it helps no one now but maybe for people in the future...
You should really check a sellers join date and amount of posts. He didn't even have the 50 posts usually required here on RC to sell. That should have been your first red flag not to buy.

He DID have over 50 posts. The MODS removed some of his posts so he couldn't continue selling items but could log in and check PM's. It was explained in the thread I linked on page 1.

I would like to see an update too.
Problems like this just shouldn't happen.
Horrible for the buyers.
Shame on the seller.

i was finally refunded. it must just be a coincidence that it happened a day before the paypal response deadline. i had already sent paypal all the copies of his pm's where he admitted taking my money and that he owed me. i also pointed out there was never a tracking number -- since i am sure he never sent anything. so basically he took my money for a month . when i advised i would press charges he said -- go ahead ,, by the time they get around to the case i will have paid you back and nothing would happen. well just because you make restitution that does not take away a crime. i am going to follow up with the charges filed. this should not happen to anyone else here. i have all the pm's to back up what i am saying.

is there anyone left that is still owed money or stuff ?? if he no longer owes money to anyone he should be banned from reef central. this is not the type of person that should be allowed to continue to scam people here.

if it was a scam you wouldnt have recieved any money, i know as well as anyone that paypal doesnt do anything if you dont have the funds as far as a refund, but i made if right and transfered money to paypal to make sure you got your money back.
I scammed nobody and this mess should be officially cleared up

eastonreef, he refunded you and as far as RC is concerned that clears him with you. If you want to discuss this further for some reason please do so privately and not in this forum.
