EGGCRATE - where can i buy it?

i need some eggcrate to cover for my tank temporarily. It seems every one uses this stuff, so where can i buy it online? a friend is taking care of my triggers in his tank, and we are worried about them jumping out. Please help, i am in manhatten and need to buy it online.

check a hardware store online, it should be in the lighting section of the site.

lowes carrys it. when i said 'eggcrate' they said 'fishtank?' it definately has another name. It was in the lighting part of the store that had work lights and t5s n stuff

Sometimes they keep it in wierd places. They probably don't call it eggcrate and they use it for recessed lighting if that helps.

Lowes
Against common sense, they don't keep it with the fluorescent lighting. Like mentioned, it is called light difuser but in mine they had it near the lumber section.

Hmm, maybe that is why I have never been able to find it at Lowes. Never thought to look in the lumber section. I have only found it at Home Depot (which is odd since I can't usually find anything I need there) and they call it eggcrate at my local HD.

Anyway, yes I agree just search for eggcrate or light diffuser online.

At my lowes they have it both in the lumber section and a small amount in the light ballast section. They also carry the chrome steel looking stuff and the black.

The associates had no clue when I said eggcrate. lol
