using pvc for constructing rockwork?
Does anyone have any advise or reccomedations with using pvc to arrange unique looking rockwork. And what if any are the drawbacks to using this method?

Its tricky using pvc....assuming you go the typicall build a shelf to suppor the rock approach. What commonly happens is that you end up still seeing parts of the pvc.
Something better would be to use solid PVC rods that you can insert into holes in your rocks (that you drill). This way you can stack rock pretty much how you want to but you never see the pvc.

You can also create a PVC structure which you drill holes in, then drill holes in the rock and zip/cable tie the rocks to the PVC support. That way you can ensure the rocks are arranged how you like and won't fall.
