Where are your micro bubbles coming from? I have a 30gal sump with out any baffles and don't get bubbles. Is it your skimmer or your return?

Try a google search for the rubbermaid. I know that a feed store can carry it. Beware of shipping costs.
I was considering it when making my basement sump room, but decided to go with a 60 gallon acrylic (adhi). I have no microbubbles going into the display tank.

Chances are more than likely yu have way too much flow going through your sump and not letting the bubbles dissipate on their own. That or you have a leak somewhere in your plumbling that is sucking in air.

You are able to have a sump without baffles. I know many people who do. Using filter socks will help.

I have a sump without baffles and have never had an issue with micro bubbles. Of course my sump throughput is pretty low (2 MJ900 pumps used as returns)

I have a 100g stock tank for my sump and I run about 800gph though it. Because it is so big, there is a lot of time for the bubbles to dissapate. I am using the built in bulk head and I have my skimmer sitting in the sump about 6 inches from it and still no microbubbles.

For those of you looking for stock tanks they can be found at Tractor Supply, or other farm supply type places. They are usually way out back so you will probably have to ask for them.

You will have trouble using silicone to attach any baffles (glass or acrylic), because neither will adhere to the treated plastic of the stock tub.
I agree that with low enough flow you might not need baffles, but if you want them you can place smaller plastic containers within your bigger container to act as baffles. For example, some people use a drawer unit on its back. Or just a smaller tub, whatever works.
