Yes - only instead of a camcorder you get a bag of wet sand...

And I get to be santa - for better or for worse...

Just as an FYI - I will be buying a 100+ gallon rubbermaid tub to house the sand. I will be charging a few extra dollars to the folks that wanted leftovers to cover this cost. This way, it's an incentive for everyone to join in.

Cost for trading sand - $7.70 ($3.85 each way).
Cost for buying sand - couple of bucks more.

Sound fair?

Just want to be sure everyone knows that I'm not making money on this at all - it keeps your expectations in check.

Sounds good to me. I think its fair for us "left-over" takers to pay a little more.

Man, I'm excited too, this does feel like Christmas. Thanks Santa

Just let me know when and where to send the $$

Definitely fair! I am just happy there is a way for us newbies to get in on it by buying leftovers!

I'm happy to see all the interest - a little daunted that we're 30 days out from ship date and there's this much interest... I might have to rethink the 50 gallon tank. Perhaps a 100 gallon rubbermaid stocktank is more realistic...
If you're hosting the 100 gallon rubbermaid I'm in for the share!

The address will be forthcoming. I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it to my post office box or to my home. Either way my post office isn't gonna like me too much.

If someone really wanted to find out - it wouldn't be hard at all. That goes for everyone.

That's why it pays to be nice to people - online or offline...

My main concern is the mailman that will have to fill their truck a few times to make the delivery. Last trade I had the stuff trickled in over the course of a few weeks - My mail lady, walking 100 feet or so to our front door with 3 big baskets of packages, wasn't exactly thrilled...

I think this is great. I'm gled there's a way for new members to get involved. I know someone said it already but I'm just excited about getting sand.
My wife thinks I've lost it.

I showed my wife this thread tonight. I showed that I had joined up on page 2 or 3, how much more diversity we had by page 7. I was excited. . . she walked out of the room?
