Looking for aiptasia

It's been a long time since i've been on the boards. Hopefully everything is good in reefing lala land.

I need aiptasia. If your infested with aiptasia and want to trade your aiptasia infested rock for well established aiptasia free live rock from my tank of 2 yrs, let's trade. I also want your loose aiptasia. If you have enough in your sand bed, I'll even come over with a pipette and suck them all out if your close enough.

You guessed it, I am trying to feed some berghia nudibranch. I've got plenty of aiptasia for now, but I'm planning ahead. PM me with your number and I'll get back with you. Small and medium size rocks only. No gigantor meteor size rocks please. Hehe. The more infested the better. Im in Huntington Beach.

What's up man. You missed all the drama, once again.

So instead of keeping white sticks, are you breeding Berghias now?

PM'd back everyone. Pook what drama? H22A how is the store? I hope I don't need to go stick my head in a hole around here. You know I let my tank just run for a while, didn't even do water changes. All the way back when the heatwaves caused a crash and I lost about everything. I have a little here and a little there growing back. I figured it was time to clean it up, and low and behold everything was still limping along. Today I saw some blue zo's show up when I thought for sure they were gone. Hit me up with some pics of your tanks. Show me why I am nursing my tank still. Maybe by summer it'll be presentable.

Come on man. It's LA. There is always drama.

Glad to hear your tank is recovering and on it's way back. LMK when you are ready and I'll hook you up with some frags. The only thing is now YOU have to drive out this way

Sorry LA is a little far. Also I am not looking to buy rock, I have plenty of clean rock. Just trade. The nudibranch haven't hatched any eggs yet. No promises that they will breed in my system either, just a promise to try.

They do work at eating aiptasia very well. They are super expensive at about $15 a piece from online vendors. Then another $35 for overnight shipping.

Still looking for aiptasia. John I'll call you today.

James,

I was cleaning tanks last night after hours...I pulled a few aiptasias and place them in a bottle....swing by and get them when you have time.....if not i'll let them breed in that bottle....

Kind of Ironic!

Breed Berghias to erradicate Aiptasias....Then breed Aiptasias to keep Berghias going........

It's an endless cycle!

come on by the store, my tanks are infested with aiptasias and this would be a perfect opportunity to get rid of them.. you can bring rocks to trade in or just go ahead and take the rocks taht have aiptasia and once they are cleaned, you can just bring them back, its up to you.
