First off nice setup I am following this one for down the road when I decide to do a built in...

here are some pictures of my LED setup... This was just after the tank was set up so not much livestock I still need to take some new pics.

thanks those each have 3-3 watt luxeon's and are enclosed ina sealed aluminum heatsinck case with a dispersing lense and yes the do get quite hot...

A word of advice get those pink pallys OFF of that base rock. they will take over the entire tank and there is not a thing you can do about it.

I have a 75 gallon reef that has them by the square foot... they have taken over everything.

I second that about the Pink Paly's, I curse the day I put them in...although they are beautiful,so were the handful of corals they have overgrown!

Yeah I got a frag of the pinks from reefermadness about a year ago- they have taken over about a square foot now. I think I'm just going to glue a rock on top of them and put a new clam on it.


Awesome build though jaggy

totally out of the norm, and well executed. The 400w seems to punch pretty much all the way down too.
