Question Hydroids!

Is there a way to get rid of hydroids? How quick do they spread and how harmfull are they? I have a few and I just want to start now if they spread quickly! Thanks for any help!

you mean the sponge/filter feeder things? are they white little q-tip things?

if so, they will be there as long as you have nutrients to feed them! they are harmless.

Depends on what kind they are. Some are pretty fast spreading and not really a good thing.
These kind are fast growing and can overtake your tank. I manually pull them out and kalk them.
