Tim is putting the finishing touches on another update.

It may be ready as early as this afternoon, but he is pretty easily distracted by shiny things and anything he regards as food...

Reef maintenance day is always interesting. I get to rummage around both of the tanks doing the macro-cleaning before I take the siphon to each tank. I also get to stick my nose into Tim's plans and try to get inside his head...

Scary stuff in there... Mostly hate-mail to me for only feeding a dozen various snails a month mixed with demands to make the ration daily instead. He tries to respond to fan-mail, but more often than not he simply smashes through the wet paper. It's sad to watch...

Skipping into the more standard images, this one shows several benign inverts sharing Tim's water. The star is either really ready to split or mutated (Insert mandatory comment made by Tim about scaring somebody out of their skin here too...)

Not the best shot of Sinatra, but this is him (note the blue eyes...)

Remember the Battle-damage emerald (B.D.E.)? Here's a solid close-up to refresh your memory...

Looks painful, right? Shouldn't need any reminders of his 'place,' right?

Wrong...

Tim spies the B.D.E. coming a bit too close for his own safety...

so Tim ducks back down to hide a bit and let B.D.E. get comfy... and closer.

Tim practices patience...

BOO!!!

Everyone (except for B.D.E.) has a grand laugh at the playful pouncing.

And of course, the star of this show, Tim...

He's been trying to keep track of the various threats and meals in his tank recently. I tried to interepret his scribbles and barked commands and this is what I cam up with:

Lots of "X" marks... no physical 'treasures' though...

density man i plan on constructing a sister city to tim's so that we could have a super alliance but i needed some very dire information first. What plant are you growing in Tim's house? and What filter are you using?

mega,
that was very dumb. not only are you triple posting and kinda hijacking, but as soon as Tim reads this he will be forced to extract pain from you...maybe take a thumb trophy or two (or take off the third one if 'you know what I mean')...youre a marked man now.

I fear for the future...

He's stewing about in his fortress right now... soon he'll be unable to contain his creative rage and it will explode forth.

Or something...

Well, Phil just said he would be willing to show tim the finer points of his favorite method of "supermantis-ing" (swimming around the tank faster than a sailfish, and hitting his prey from behind-inspired by tim, in fact) in preparation for his revenge.

LOL

You guys are killing me...

And speaking of killing, two non-mantissy members of the Tim-tank have moved on to fishy Valhalla... I'll let you know which two very shortly... *GRIN*

Ditries wins the NO-PRIZE!

I think Moe remains and I fed Tim some pellets tonight to abate further slaughter.

I'm also pleased to bring you round 3 of "Tim Harasses the B.D.E."

Awwww... isn't the B.D.E. precious?

Tim spies an oppurtunity to humiliate the ninja-crustacean clown...

CHAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGE!!!

Something for the long-time readers...

Enjoy!

I gotta say, the whole "one-eye" thing is what really does it for me. It gives Tim a whole new level of personality.
