What does the package recommend? I have a container of this somewhere but it is several years old and should probably be thrown out, so I'm sure the packaging/directions have changed. If it does not state anything on the package, I would go with a 5g water change.
Side note: Look into a nano skimmer for you tank.

I'd do water changes and run carbon. How much fresh carbon was used after the treatment?

Do a water change. They ususlly come back because the medication can't kill them all. Put an arrow crab in there, I heard it will eat them.

ya im thinking water change adding a skimer or a cabon filter isnt really reasonable bc i have 50 gal stup that ive been working on for months that im going to fill within a week so i just need my ten gal stup to suffice till then . if i have some cabon from my freshwater tank. can i just put it in a little bag and put it in one of my over the back filters or is there a special carbon for reef anks?

The carbon for freshwater tanks is fine. The directions for Flatworm Exit give some indications on how much to use.

I've found that two doses are necessary to get rid of the flatworms. My speculation is that the treatment doesn't kill any eggs, but that's just a guess.

Ultimately its not Flatworm Exit that is causing your zoos and shrooms to close. It is the toxins being released from the dead flatworms that are causing this. Read the link provided for more info...it helped me when I had my FW problem

I managed to get rid of mine by dosing twice in one week, or some suchinterval. I dosed a number of times before that, but further apart, and they returned.

I agree that flatworm toxin is likely the problem. The carbon should remove this toxin. The instructions give a suggested dosage.
