I'll show my formula if you show yours first. There are two points of view (formulas), but neither supports his answer. So I want to see why you think he's right.

What is the basis for that formula, especially your divisor (24)?

Each page has 25 posts. Brian's "3" post was the 51st post or 50th reply (hence, two points of view). So Andrew posted the 52nd post or 51st reply. Using an ancient technique called ratio and proportion;

3:51::X:52 (3 is to the 51st post as X is to the 52nd post)
X= 52*3/51 = 3.0588235294117647058823529411765

OR

3:50::X:51 (3 is to the 50th reply as X is to the 51st reply)
X= 51*3/50 = 3.06
