Question Will this brisstle worm hurt my sps??

I found this monster in my 24 gallon nano cube today at work. I think he might be dangerous to softer corals and my small fish at night. I have a 40 gallon SPS tank at home and i think i might put him there if he isnt going to cause a ruckus. Any thoughts??

He is getting kind of big. Make soup out of him or give him away

I have some that large, or maybe even larger, w/ no ill effects on anything in the tank. They do however keep my LR looking nice and clean. They are excellent scavengers IMO.......

Opps! Forgot to add, I've seen several cases of bristle-worms boring into the base of SPS colonies, causing the coral to be in a stressed state and refusing to grow or colour up... so while it doesn't happen all the time, these worms can indeed pose a danger to your SPS...

My only concern is when worms like this and large snails.....(I have a 3inch diameter snail), eventually die that they pose the same problem as a fish dying in the water. Soon we will have to not only be doing fish head counts every day, but worm counts....

That particular worm look slike a Fire worm, which are typcially seen as harmful. Regular ole bristle worms aren;t bad, but when they get big like that (and Eunicid worms), I'd have to find a new home for it...

I just had a 5 incher get blown into my SEIO 820 and get chopped up yesterday. The hermits and nassarius snails had a field day and munched up all the pieces.

ya haha, that's what reminded me. I swear you see the craziest stuff in a fishtank when you're looking at it, imagine what you miss though that 95% of the time you're not looking at it.
