Your chance to stock an 1100 gallon FOWLR!!

I posted this in the fish only forum, but I figure I better post here and give everyone a chance!

What to put in 1100 gallon FOWLR???
Okay guys, heres the deal. I am currently redoing our FO tank. Changing sumps, filters, substrate, etc....

Here is the info.

Tank. 1100 gallons. 10ftx5ftx3ft

Sumps, 4 100 gallon rubbermaids, one is a dedicated refugium, one will house the skimmers, one with some liverock.

Return pumps, 2 md100 blue lines. 1500gph ea
Closed loop Sequence dart 3600gph

Lighting is currently 8 4 foot vho 4 10k 4 actinic

Display is getting 2000lbs of sand

There will be a rock structure with approx 500lbs of fiji liverock. There will be plenty of open swimming space.

Current fish,

12" stars and stripes puffer
12" Durgeon trigger
8" Clown trigger
6" lunare wrasse
10" Blue spotted Unicorn tang
5" brown bird wrasse

All of these fish do not need to be returned to the tank, but can.

So, I want to here your ideas. What would you put in it?

Some ideas I had were, angel tank, with several pygmy as well as lg angels. Sponge and gorgonion forest. Shark tank with a pair of eppaulettes.

Lets here your ideas!

Some nice large angels would be awesome... emperor angel, queen angel, french or grey angel. Achilles, pair of naso's group of purple tangs. A Australian tusk. Man the odds are endless if they all get along. Good luck!

Two of the best fish I ever had were a Queen Trigger and Spiny Puffer. They had awesome personalities and were super cool to look at.

If I had a tank that big I would buy every tang I could get my hands on (I really like tangs). I would get peaceful fish so that you can also have the option of putting in little fish because they can be cool, even in a large tank. (I love going into public aquariums and seeing little wrasses and clowns in the 100,000+ gallon tanks, it is just more natural.) If it were me I would shy away from large predatory fish (like lionfish) for that reason.

i was in my lfs a month or so ago and they have a beautiful display tank filled with anthias and chromis. it is an awesome looking tank. the oranges of the anthias mixed in with the blues and greens of the chromis make for a great visual effect. i like the idea of schooling fish in a tank large enough to let them really do it.

I would recommend a school of butterfly fish.

It is common to see them on real reefs and would be awesome in a tank that size.

raccoon, heniochus, auriga a few of each

also agree with a school of anthias, a school of chromis, and a few tangs.

Vlamingi Tang and Emporer Angel, they are the coolest fish in my tanks. I also like my schools of Blue Chomis and orange Dispar Ahthias. I would eliminate fish that tend to kill each other, they ruin that old community feeling, unless you live in Detroit.
