clown fish

Hi, i'm new to fish tanks. I just purchased a nano cube 28gl with the MH. Everytime i turn on the light, my clown fish moves to the top corner (by the pump) until I turn off the light, and then he swims everywhere around after. Just wondering if this is normal and if the light is stressing or harmful to the fish.

Thanks!

does the fish leave the corners as soon as you turn off the light?

Are you trying different foods? Some might not take to flake food right away. You can try a variety of things, like frozen mysis shrimp which mine love.

i'll try that pretty soon. i'll try getting it after i get a few more fish so the frozen food doesn't make a mess in my tank.
