Question Any Particular Brands?

I'm looking at several different brands of Carbon and Phosphate absorber, and I'm wondering what everyone else uses and for what reasons? I normally use Seachem, but I was curious if anyone had any better suggestions?

Thanks!
Matt

If you mean Seachem's Matrix, that is very high on the list of quality. Black Diamond is also used by many.

For Po4 removal, I use PhoSar HC by Warner Marine.

For phosphate media, I'd recommend sticking to a GFO (iron-based) product, and avoid the SeaChem formula:

Seachem Matrix, Black Diamond, and TLF Hydrocarbon are all good carbons. I've never tried it (not carried by my favorite stores), but I'm sure the Warner Marine would also be fine.

For GFO, I've used Phosban and PHOSaR. Both are good, but I like the hydrodynamic properties of PHOSaR better.
