G.O.A.T. 180G Mixed Reef

I upgraded my tank to a 180g(72x24x24) Reef Ready tank made by All Glass. Previously I had a 120g Mixed reef which I broke down a couple of months ago. Before the 120g, I had a 72g when I was about 11 years old.

I decided to go ahead and get a custom stand and canopy built for this tank. I didn't like the height of the stand on the 120g, so with the new stand it will stand about 42" high.

Equipment is as follows.

Circulation:
2x Tunze Stream 6100 w/ 7095 Multicontroller
Sequence ReefFlo Dart Water Pump (down the road)
Mag 24 Return Pump

Lighting:
72" PFO Professional Series Metal Halide ~ 3x250w w/ 4PC
T5 actinics (down the road)

Filteration:
GSA Standard Eight Skimmer
GSA M-15 Calcium Reactor
GSA Kalk Stirrer
Deltec FR509 Fluidized Reactor
Aqua 40w UV Sterilzer

Other
Aquacontroller PRO
Reef Fanatic pH Monitor
36"x16"x16" Custom Acrylic Sump

Heres a future fish list:
Desjardini Sailfin Tang
Red Sea Purple Tang
Yellow Belly Hippo Tang
Blonde Naso Tang ~Maybe
Lyretail Anthias (4 Females, 1 Male)
African Midas Blenny
Purple Firefish x2
Black and White Percula Clownfish pair
Radiant Wrasse
Blue Star Leopard Wrasse
Mystery Wrasse (maybe)
Psychedelic Mandarinfish
Green Mandarinfish

I am going to use about 250lbs of Fiji Liverock. As for the aquascape, I want to create an open look at the same time I want to have many places to put corals.

Here's a picture of my first reef~72g.(I was 13 at the time)

Here's a picture of my 120G reef before I broke it down.

Here's a few pictures of my stand almost built.

Stand is completed with the tank and canopy on. Pictures didn't capture the real color.

In a couple of days, the tank will be filled with water and over the weekend the rocks should be in as well.

Your previous tanks looks good... 180 sounds its going to be an even better set up! Your list looks good but then naso will outgrow that tank and maybe even the sailfin but a small one should be good for years.

Thank you all for the nice compliments. I had the stand built by a fellow local club member. He does wonderful work, and I love how the stand and canopy came out.

Thanks. I most likely will revise my stocking list once it's time to buy livestock. Right now I'm just focusing on adding water. I actually have to add shims under the stand, which I hope to do this Friday. After Friday, everything should be going alot smoother.

More updates this weekend.

Here's a shot of my plumbing. This picture is about a week old, since then I have all my equipment under the stand. I will post an updated picture soon.

That is one absolutely beautiful stand; I can't wait to see the finished tank.
