You have to go to the main page. Then go to the folder with the question marks then click on the ones that refer to ATI.

They are. They wouldn't allow for any look down space over my tank though. I like the easy access that my Lumenarc pendant allows. Adding a fixture that big on a tank with a footprint like mine takes away from the open top effect.

Awesome setup Dude, seems as though things are really coming together for you. I may have missed it, what do you plan on lighting this tank with?

Mike is currently super sick and sounds real real delirious when you talk to him. We talked yesterday for a few minutes and he didn't remember talking to me today.

We did a rough aquascape this past Sunday but neither of us were happy with it. The closed loop jets/strainer make the tank really really tough to aquascape around! We used mostly huge rocks so my idea is to try some smaller rocks and see of that doesn't help us break up the wall look.

Hopefully, Mike will be back in a couple of days

Marcus - Glad you like. And I saw your sump ... it's incredible, you're gonna flip!

Pyotale - I'm going with the ATI Powermodule, 10 x 54W lamps. There's a separate fan for every 2 lamps, and the active cooling drastically increases the PAR. This will be the rate limiting step to me being able to stock the tank, as I don't expect the fixture to arrive for a while longer.

Marc, thanks for your well-wishes. As John mentioned, I been illin'. And the Dudester is a healthy dude, you know, runs marathons, works out 4-5 x/week. But this thing has really whooped me. Today I'm finally feeling a little better, so hopefully soon John and I will exchange out some of the LR that's in the tank for smaller pieces so we can take advantage of some of the real estate near the front glass panel. The aquascape is nice, but it's not perfect. I'll try to get a photo of what we've done, mostly so that there will be a version 1 and then, hopefully, a final version for the 'scape.

Well I'm finally feeling a little better today, but wouldn't it figure, I'm working all day and night, and I have to do it again on Sunday/Monday. I don't think the new 'scape will occur on Saturday, so it'll have to wait until next week. Meanwhile, I'm ordering the feed pump for the skimmer so I can get it going soon. Currently the rock in the tank is under circulation, and I'm running carbon in the reactor to keep the smell under control. It was a mistake not having the skimmer pump ready in time.

GMFett - ... and drink we shall!

fisheebill - I can't wait for the Powermodule either. I just hope it doesn't put this project on hold indefinitely.

erics3000 - thanks!

cbui and GSMguy - You guys are nuts, how am I supposed to support my reef habit if I drop that kind of dough on booze?!

boozeman and jnarowe - You're both right. I've done my share of reefin' with bottle-in-hand, and while it's quite fun, I may have made a plumbing mistake or two that wouldn't have occured otherwise. Oh, but did I mention it WAS fun?

BWA (Boozing While Aquascaping) is something I have learned not to do the hard way. Fun but dangerous and never looks as good the next morning.

Budgets are good... In theory only. It does make my wife feel better. Every fish or coral I bough was "technically $35"... "Oh honey, that 6" hippo tang was only $35."
