Those w/ Ca Reactors

Do you dose anything in addition. Kalk, B-ionic, Reef Complete, trace elements?

Thanks

When I ran my CA reactor I still used argamight in all my top-off water and I'd usually wind up dosing kalk to keep my Ph up...

I've been adding a little reef complete every weekend, but just never saw coralline growth like I did with dosing B-Ionic. Despite having a Ca of 450-465 consitantly. Trying the waterchange method currently. Too soon to report results though.

I have pretty decent but not overwelming coraline growth with my effluent set at 6.5pH - I use adual stage Ca Reactor with the effluent going into my RDSB to aid in additional buffering which keeps my pH in the tank about 8.2 and maintaining my Ca arounf 400-450 ppm

I run a calcium reactor. All makeup water is limewater (kalkwasser). I dose two part (if neccessary). I supplement Mg (if necessary).
Are you trying to boost coralline growth, Cully?

Nah, it's coming in alright. But I do notice that when i dosed 2 part EVERYTHING was purple. Overflows, powerheads, rock, frag plugs, everything. Now, on the back glass for instance, it seems there are various stages of waxing and waning coralline growth. I thought perhaps some discrepancy in the trace elements found in 2 part versus Ca reactor effluent might be the reason.

Calcium reactor 24/7,fully saturated limewater for top off. Magnesium when needed. Rare tweak with calcium chloride and /or buffer. High calcium and magnesium salt mix(Coral Life).
