Question how can i clean my sock filter

i just replaced my other sock filter. now i have two of them the one i am using and the older one. noe my question is how can i clean this .....ive heard vinegar and and to put in in the washer....... and what kind and brand do you guys use to clean it thats safe ?

I just throw mine in the washer by themselves. I use bleach, but no soap and set the washer to do an extra rinse.

rinse with your house with pressure nozzle both ways (right-side and in-side out) then throw into the washer with small amount of bleach. Pick up a nother one so you can always have one cleaned and ready to go.

yah... bleach is bleach. I would avoid the fragrance stuff though.

i just use a washing mchine with just water on cold. With an extra rinse.

I jet mine out with the hose then I let It dry out in the sun. I keep 2 socks on hand so when Its time to change them I have one ready to go.

Turn inside out, rinse under the sink then throw it in the washer. Can add bleach (Clorox) if you want.
