as close as i can get with my feeble skills - the polyps are actually more green then the base which gives it that overall off green/teal??? color
how is your frag doing?

It's still pretty much the same color, starting to encrust good now.. tannish/greenish/tealish near the base and gradually going to bright blue at the tip... Sure taking it's time growing!! Although I'm still getting used to the Acro's growth rates...

Sorry for going off topic a little, This thread is great!! Keep them coming!! Could it be possible to also post some time frames?

Hmmm deja vu thread?

Anyways, a little something I picked up at the BA-CFM a couple years back in the "cheapy" bin.

A pic I took in April, it's actually colored up even nicer, purples are purpler, blues popped out, greens are greener, and the cream color is creamier.. its My Quad Color Coral! *trumpets fanfare*

Sorry about the size, don't have time to reduce it.

HEY GUYS!!!!! How long does it take for a browned out SPS to get color? I recently had a PO4 problem and browned ALL my SPS, I finally figured out the problem, got my levels down and even regained some color the first week, but now @ week 4 it seems like they are not getting any more colorful or at least very very slowly. Am I rushing it? In fact it looks like the new growth is the only parts that are coloring up????

My PO4 levels are still great.

I WANT COLOR!!!!!!!

Nothing exotic here, and it's only been in my tank for a little over a month. Can't wait to see what it'll look like in a year or so.

Acropora Samoensis (when first purchased)

Michika,

that is a very unusual (at least to me) coral; what is it? It's looking great now, by the way.

i also have a frag of this from the same person, it is begining to color for me slightly but polyp extension is poor due to the red bugs. if you look closely at the second pisture can see them more clearly then the first but they are there..

oddly thought that was the only of the four frags i got that seems to have them..

OMG! I'm going to have a stroke. I looked at the picture again (the big version), and I think I see them, too now.

I guess this means it's time for the Interceptor treatment since those bugs most likely have traveled to my other Acros as well.
