Banggai Behavior
I have 3 adult banggai (about 2 years old), 2 males & 1 female. They all get along for the most part and both males have held eggs, though I think only one has kept to term a few times. I've noticed a few times that one will start hiding and try to squeeze into tight spots (i.e. behind the heater or behind the skimmer top skim box). It would also turn pretty dark, almost brown. I noticed this time that it was the female that was hiding. The males would come up to her hiding spot but didn't really seem to be harassing her. Though I don't know what they do to her at night. I took her out of the tank and took her to my place about 1 hr drive and put her in another tank to recoop and get better, her fins seemed a little ratty. When I got home and opened the box, she was looking pretty normal color wise. She swims around the tank and looks great now. What do you think was causing her to get ratty fins, turn brown and hid from the guys? Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

maybe she was overwhelmed from servicing?

you can move 1 female between 2 or 3 males to reduce the number of fish, give the males a break and keep the females active so umm probibly not
remember the male holds the eggs and doesnt eat, then often less than 1 week later is expected to do it all over again
