Question Bangaii's eating fry?

I am getting ready to set up a bangaii breeding system and planned on using a fuge for a grow out tank. My question... with the male eat the fry after he drops them?? Will it be safe to keep him in the grow out tank?

TIA

If they move and they fit in his mouth then he will eat them.
