check your local wooded areas as soon as you can. my friend had thier bike stolen and the people who stole it were experienced. it is very common for them to leave the bike in the woods for a few days unharmed to see if it has lojack and then they will come pick it up. my friends bike was recovered less than a mile from the house.

ok here is the latest on what happened tonight with the bike. My brother was coming home from work and saw a kid on MY bike pull out of a Exxon Gastation. (The kid was riding it w/ no helmet and a short sleeve shirt). He hauled ... down Bloomingdale to John Moore and went to his friends house. My brother pulled over and slowed down and called the cops. I guess the kid realized that something was going on and took off on my bike down John Moore. My brother has a Hemi Charger and went after him at speeds of 100mph. He popped a U-ie and went down the other way and disappeared. The cops came to the kids house where he was talking to his friend, and the friend and mother claim they know nothing, they didn't know who he was or why he was at thier house. They were talking to each other, high fiving and stuff, but he claims he didn't know him and that he just came outsie to see who was there. So two cops question this kid and try to get him to give the kid who stole the bike's name up and he is just sticking to his story that he doesn't know who he was and never has seen him before. Jenn went to the Exxon where he was leaving from and found out that he bought $3 in gas at 4:26pm and he paid CASH so his face is on the video tapes, which the manager is getting for us tomorrow so we will have this ...holes face and by that, somebody will have to recognize him. He was trying to do wheelies and apparently doesn't know how to ride, so I'm expecting to pick my bike up in a million pieces or he may have dumped it in a pond somewhere. If you are in the Brandon area, and see my bike, call the police immediately. This ........ is riding it around. Then call me.

gseller i am so sorry to hear the news, i've been robbed like that before and i know the feeling, i will DEF keep my eye out in the wesley chapel area for your bike. I say you may want to stop by that kids place a few times to see if the thief shows up again, but dont do anything illegal (or atleast dont get caught) Good luck man, best wishes.

OH MAN!!! I could only imagine how furious you are right about now. Just don't do anything too foolish. Don't get yourself in trouble. Not worth it. You did have insurance right?

Sorry dude. Hope you get your bike back in one piece.

I wouldn't worry about the cops showing up first. In my experience they always show up last and never can or will do a thing. They won't catch him and I wouldn't worry too much about them doing anything to you should you do decide get medievel on his ***. Give me a call and I bet we can teach him a lesson about what happens to thieves....with extreme prejudice, lol.

man almost had him what a idoit riding the bike around in the area it was taken from, thats one for the worlds dumbest criminals. im not trying to be a buzzkill but i do agree with laura on the issue of the police being useless. my brothers shop was broken into they store two drag car engines turbos and some wheels off a customers car. my brother and friends did all of the leg work for the cops and they didnt even follow the leads, the time they got around to checking on what my brother was telling them the items were already sold on ebay and the police say there is nothing they can do. BS THE POLICE SUCK, sorry i got a little carried away just our experience.
